Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: Chuck roast, rump roast, and sirloin tip roast are all good choices for this recipe. Look for a roast that is well-marbled with fat, as this will help to keep the meat moist and flavorful.
  • Brown the beef before roasting: This will help to develop a rich, flavorful crust on the meat.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: The marinade will help to infuse the beef with flavor. Be sure to marinate the beef for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  • Roast the beef slowly: This will help to ensure that the meat is cooked evenly and tender.
  • Let the beef rest before slicing: This will help to keep the juices in the meat.
  • Serve the beef sandwiches with your favorite toppings: Some popular options include cheese, barbecue sauce, and horseradish sauce.
