Steps:
- In a medium to large pot bring 2 quarts of water, sugar, and salt to a boil.
- Cut halibut into 2-3 large pieces (so it cooks faster) and add to water.
- Boil for about 10 minutes or until halibut is nice and flaky.
- In the meantime, melt butter in a pot, but do not boil.
- Remove halibut from water, squeeze a little fresh lemon on it and serve with melted butter (I like to completely submerge my halibut in the melted butter, much like you would do with lobster).

Press out as much air as you can, seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to marinate.
- Preheat a grill for medium-low heat. When hot, lightly oil the grate.
- Place the chicken on the grill and discard the marinade. Cook until chicken juices run clear, 20 to 25 minutes. Turn as needed to keep the chicken from burning.

Tips:
- Choose the right fish: Any firm, white-fleshed fish can be used for mock lobster, but some popular choices include cod, haddock, and tilapia.

- Add some extras: Feel free to add other ingredients to your mock lobster, such as cooked shrimp, crab, or vegetables.
- Serve it up: Mock lobster can be served with a variety of sides, such as rice, potatoes, or vegetables. It can also be used in sandwiches or wraps.

Mock lobster is a delicious and affordable way to enjoy the taste of lobster without the high price tag. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. So next time you are looking for a seafood feast, give mock lobster a try.
