Praline sweet potatoes are a classic Southern dish that combines the sweet and savory flavors of sweet potatoes with the decadent richness of praline sauce. This dish is often served at holiday dinners and special occasions, but it can also be enjoyed as a weeknight meal. The key to making the perfect praline sweet potatoes is to use fresh, high-quality ingredients and to cook the potatoes until they are tender but not mushy. The praline sauce should be made with real butter, sugar, and pecans, and it should be cooked until it is thick and bubbly. When the potatoes and sauce are combined, they create a dish that is both delicious and visually appealing.
