STRAWBERRY PRETZEL JELL-O

Strawberry Pretzel Jell-O image

A crisp salty pretzel crust complements the creamy marshmallow-fluff-like "white" layer, with a tangy topping of strawberries in gelatin. Much like a strawberry cheesecake, but with the surprise of pretzels! For best results, make Strawberry Pretzel Jell-O only one day in advance, to preserve the crunchy texture of the pretzels.

Tips:

  • Choose the right gelatin. Unflavored gelatin is the best choice for this recipe, as it allows you to control the flavor of the dessert. You can also use flavored gelatin, but be sure to adjust the amount of sugar you add to the recipe.
  • Bloom the gelatin properly. Blooming the gelatin means sprinkling it over cold water and letting it sit for a few minutes. This allows the gelatin to absorb the water and become soft. If you don't bloom the gelatin, it will not dissolve properly in the hot liquid.
  • Dissolve the gelatin completely. Once the gelatin has bloomed, add it to a saucepan with hot liquid and stir until it is completely dissolved. Do not boil the gelatin, as this will damage it.
  • Add the gelatin to the pretzel mixture slowly. Slowly whisk the gelatin mixture into the pretzel mixture until it is well combined. Do not overmix, as this can cause the dessert to become tough.
  • Chill the dessert until it is set. Pour the dessert mixture into a mold and refrigerate it for at least 4 hours, or until it is set. You can also freeze the dessert for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Pretzel gelatin dessert is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover pretzels, and it can be customized to your own taste. With a few simple ingredients and a little time, you can create a dessert that is sure to impress your friends and family.
