TRIPLE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY CORDIAL

Triple Chocolate Raspberry Cordial image

I came up with this when creating a nightcap using what I had on hand in my bar at that time. I used 1/2 shot of Chambord, but you might wish to increase that to a full shot if you want a stronger raspberry flavor.

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 tsp chocolate syrup
1/2-1 oz chambord raspberry liquor
1/2 oz creme de cacao liqueur
1 oz white chocolate liqueur
1 oz kahlua (of other coffee-flavored liqueur)

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously. Pour into cordial or cocktail glass.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, flavorful raspberries: The quality of your raspberries will greatly impact the flavor of your cordial. Look for berries that are plump, brightly colored, and free of blemishes.
  • Use a good quality vodka: A smooth, neutral vodka will allow the flavor of the raspberries to shine through. Avoid using a flavored vodka, as this could overwhelm the delicate taste of the berries.
  • Sweeten to taste: The amount of sugar you add to your cordial will depend on your personal preference. Start with a small amount and add more to taste, until you reach the desired sweetness.
  • Let the cordial rest: After you've made your cordial, let it rest for at least a week before drinking. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Serve chilled: Raspberry cordial is best served chilled. You can enjoy it on its own, or use it to make cocktails, mocktails, or other beverages.

Conclusion:

Raspberry cordial is a delicious and versatile liqueur that can be enjoyed in many ways. It's perfect for sipping on its own, or using to make cocktails, mocktails, or other beverages. With its beautiful color and refreshing flavor, raspberry cordial is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering. So next time you have a surplus of raspberries, give this recipe a try!
