Tips:

  • For the Raspberry Lime Sherbet, use fresh raspberries for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh raspberries, you can use frozen raspberries that have been thawed.
  • To make the Watermelon Granita, use a ripe, juicy watermelon. The riper the watermelon, the sweeter the granita will be.
  • For both recipes, use filtered or spring water for the best results. Tap water may contain impurities that can affect the taste of the sherbet or granita.
  • If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make the Raspberry Lime Sherbet. Pour the sherbet mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for several hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so to break up the ice crystals.
  • To make the Watermelon Granita without a blender, simply scoop the watermelon flesh into a bowl and mash it with a fork until it is slushy. Then, stir in the sugar and lime juice.

Conclusion:

These refreshing raspberry lime sherbet and watermelon granita recipes are perfect for a hot summer day. They are both easy to make and require just a few simple ingredients. So next time you're looking for a cool and delicious treat, give one of these recipes a try!
