splenda (amt. to equal 1 c. sugar)
10 individual tea bags
12 oz frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed & undrained
3 Tbsp lime juice

Steps:

  • 1. In a large saucepan, bring 2 qts. of water to boiling. Stir in Splenda til dissolved. Remove from the heat. Add tea bags; steep for 5-8 minutes, then discard.

Tips:

  • Use Fresh Raspberries: Fresh raspberries impart the best flavor to the tea. If fresh raspberries are unavailable, frozen raspberries can be used instead.
  • Choose a Quality Tea: The type of tea used will also affect the flavor of the sweet tea. A good quality black tea, such as Earl Grey or Assam, is a good choice.
  • Adjust the Sweetness: The amount of sugar or honey added to the tea can be adjusted to taste. For a less sweet tea, use less sugar or honey. For a sweeter tea, use more sugar or honey.
  • Let the Tea Steep: Allowing the tea to steep for a longer period of time will result in a more flavorful tea. For a stronger tea, steep the tea for 10-12 minutes. For a milder tea, steep the tea for 5-7 minutes.
  • Chill the Tea: Chilling the tea before serving will make it more refreshing. The tea can be chilled in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

Conclusion:

Raspberry sweet tea is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to taste. With its sweet and tangy flavor, raspberry sweet tea is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
