TORTELLINI ALFREDO WITH PEAS

Tortellini Alfredo with Peas image

This is a very quick restaurant version of tortellini Alfredo. You can use a small canned ham, spam, bacon, or even leftover ham. You can also add a can of mushrooms, too. Served with a salad and garlic bread. It's great! I'm asked to make this all the time by my kids and their friends.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients whenever possible, especially for the peas and Parmesan cheese. Fresh peas have a sweeter flavor and a brighter green color than frozen peas, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese has a more intense flavor than pre-grated cheese.
  • If you don't have heavy cream, you can use milk instead. However, the sauce will be thinner and less creamy.
  • To make the sauce even more flavorful, you can add a splash of white wine or chicken broth. You can also add some chopped fresh herbs, such as basil, oregano, or thyme.
  • If you don't have time to make your own Alfredo sauce, you can use a jarred Alfredo sauce. However, be sure to choose a high-quality sauce that is made with real ingredients.
  • Ravioli alfredo with peas is a versatile dish that can be served as a main course or a side dish. It is also a great dish to make ahead of time. Simply cook the ravioli and sauce according to the directions, then let it cool completely. Store the ravioli and sauce in separate containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When you're ready to serve, reheat the sauce and ravioli until warmed through.

Conclusion:

Ravioli alfredo with peas is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover ravioli, and it is also a great dish to serve to guests. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and memorable meal that everyone will enjoy.
