Who would believe that beer would be the perfect solution to eradicating fluorescent green margaritas? Well, it is! Best to use not-so-micro brews to avoid an overpowering beer flavor. Use the limeade can to measure the ingredients, and adjust with extra water if the mixture seems too sweet. Straining the pulp is always a good idea, unless, of course, you like pulp!

Tips:

  • Choose your beer wisely: Lighter beers, such as pilsners and lagers, will result in a more refreshing margarita. Darker beers, such as stouts and porters, will give your margarita a richer, more complex flavor.
  • Use fresh lime juice: Fresh lime juice is essential for a great margarita. Bottled or store-bought lime juice will not give your margarita the same bright, citrusy flavor.
  • Don't skimp on the tequila: A good margarita should have a balance of tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur. If you skimp on the tequila, your margarita will be too sour or too sweet.
  • Add a sweetener to taste: Some people like their margaritas sweet, while others prefer them tart. If you like your margaritas sweet, add a little simple syrup or agave nectar to taste.
  • Garnish your margarita with a lime wedge: A lime wedge is the perfect finishing touch for a margarita. It adds a pop of color and flavor, and it also helps to balance out the sweetness of the margarita.

Conclusion:

The Beer Margarita is a refreshing and delicious twist on the classic margarita. It's perfect for summer parties, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, or any time you're looking for a unique and flavorful cocktail. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can easily make this delicious margarita at home. So next time you're looking for a refreshing and unique cocktail, give the Beer Margarita a try! You won't be disappointed.
