Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 cup almonds, whole, toasted (3 ounces)
1 cup roasted red pepper, from a jar, drained
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1 large garlic clove, peeled
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Tips:

  • Choose ripe red bell peppers: Look for peppers that are firm, smooth, and have a deep red color. Avoid peppers that are wrinkled or have blemishes.
  • Roast the peppers properly: Roasting the peppers brings out their sweetness and smoky flavor. Make sure to roast them until the skins are blistered and charred.
  • Use a food processor: A food processor makes quick work of pureeing the peppers, almonds, and garlic. If you don't have a food processor, you can use a blender or immersion blender.
  • Season to taste: Be sure to taste the dip before serving and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice.
  • Serve with your favorite dippers: This dip is great with pita chips, crackers, vegetables, or even grilled chicken.

Conclusion:

This roasted red pepper almond and garlic dip is a delicious and easy appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It is creamy, flavorful, and packed with roasted red pepper flavor. Serve it with your favorite dippers and enjoy!
