1 tablespoon canola oil
2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained

2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pat chicken dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

8 ounces penne rigate
4 ounces Taleggio cheese without rind, cubed

2 cups dried white beans
3/4 cup diced bacon
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
4 cups chicken stock
4 cups water
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary

Steps:

  • Cover the beans with cold water and soak overnight in the refrigerator.
  • They will double in size so use a lot of water.
