LEMON THYME (OR ROSEMARY) BARS

Lemon Thyme (Or Rosemary) Bars image

Adapted from Giada de Laurentiis, with a minor tweak or two. Traditionally, it calls for fresh lemon thyme, but feel free to use fresh rosemary, as it pairs with lemon equally as well. When serving, drizzle with limoncello for an extra special treat and lemon kick!

Tips:

  • Use fresh rosemary and lemon. Fresh rosemary and lemon zest add a vibrant flavor to the nuts that dried herbs and bottled lemon juice can't match.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. When roasting the nuts, make sure to spread them out in a single layer so that they cook evenly.
  • Watch the nuts closely. Nuts can go from perfectly roasted to burnt in a matter of minutes, so keep an eye on them while they're in the oven.
  • Let the nuts cool completely before storing them. This will help them to stay crispy.
  • Store the nuts in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. They will keep for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Rosemary lemon spiced nuts are a delicious and versatile snack that can be enjoyed on their own or used as an ingredient in other dishes. They're perfect for parties, picnics, or just a quick snack at home. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can make your own delicious rosemary lemon spiced nuts at home.
