Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Russet potatoes are the best choice for mashed potatoes because they are starchy and fluffy. Yukon Gold potatoes are also a good option.
  • Roast the garlic: Roasting the garlic mellows its flavor and makes it sweeter.
  • Use fresh rosemary: Fresh rosemary has a more intense flavor than dried rosemary.
  • Don't overcook the potatoes: Overcooked potatoes will be gluey and lose their flavor.
  • Mash the potatoes with a potato masher: A potato masher will give you a lighter and fluffier texture than a food processor.
  • Add the milk and butter gradually: Adding the milk and butter gradually will help you achieve the desired consistency.
  • Season to taste: Season the mashed potatoes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh rosemary: Garnish the mashed potatoes with fresh rosemary for a pop of color and flavor.

Conclusion:

Rosemary roasted garlic cheese mashed potatoes are a delicious and easy to make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. They are creamy, cheesy, and garlicky, with a hint of rosemary flavor. These mashed potatoes are sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
