SAMMY'S BEEF AND SAUSAGE MEATLOAF
I got the idea of using sausage in this from my hubby, and I built it from there. This makes an excelent, juicy, and very tasty meat loaf. Note: I mince my onions because I like the flavor, I just don't want to know they are there, but obviously you can chop them to your liking.

MEATLOAF WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGE
My mom gave me this recipe, and everyone agrees it is the best ever, I think it's because of the Italian sausage. It's great the next day too. But we usually don't have many leftovers.

Tips:
- Choose the Right Beef and Sausage: For the best flavor and texture, use a combination of ground beef and ground sausage. Look for beef that is 80% lean and 20% fat, and sausage that is at least 70% lean.
- Don't Overwork the Meat: When mixing the meatloaf ingredients, be gentle and don't overwork the meat. Overworking can make the meatloaf tough.
- Add Some Moisture: To keep the meatloaf moist, add a binder such as eggs, bread crumbs, or oatmeal. You can also add some vegetables, such as grated carrots or zucchini, to help retain moisture.
- Season Generously: Don't be afraid to season the meatloaf well. Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and other spices to taste.
- Cook the Meatloaf Properly: Cook the meatloaf in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 1 hour, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the center reads 160°F.
- Let the Meatloaf Rest: When the meatloaf is done cooking, let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the meatloaf hold its shape and keep its juices.
Conclusion:
