Tips for Making Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your sausage cream cheese crescents will taste. Look for fresh, high-quality sausage, cream cheese, and crescent dough.
  • Brown the sausage: Browning the sausage adds flavor and depth to the filling. Be sure to cook the sausage until it is browned all the way through.
  • Drain the sausage: Draining the sausage removes excess grease, which will help to keep your crescents from becoming soggy.
  • Use a variety of cheeses: Feel free to experiment with different types of cheeses in your filling. Cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan are all great options.
  • Make sure the dough is cold: Cold dough is easier to work with and will prevent the crescents from becoming too greasy.
  • Roll the dough out thinly: The thinner you roll out the dough, the crispier your crescents will be.
  • Bake the crescents until they are golden brown: Keep an eye on the crescents as they bake and remove them from the oven as soon as they are golden brown.
