When selecting the vegetables, go for firm and vibrant ones. A mix of colors and textures will make your dish more visually appealing. Broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, and zucchini are all fantastic options that will hold their shape well during cooking. Avoid vegetables that wilt easily, such as lettuce or cucumber, as they will turn mushy when sautéed. Seasoning is key to enhancing the flavors of your vegetables. A sprinkle of salt and pepper is always a good starting point, but you can also add other herbs and spices to your liking. Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cumin are some popular choices that pair well with steak and vegetables.
