12 ounces cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups cooked rice
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup soft bread crumbs

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, rice, soup, mushrooms, cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, green pepper, onion, lemon juice, pepper, mustard and Worcestershire sauce., Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Combine bread crumbs and remaining butter; sprinkle over top. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30-35 minutes or until lightly browned.

1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter, divided
12 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1-1/3 cups fat-free milk
3 cups cooked brown rice
1 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese, divided

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet, saute shrimp in 1 tablespoon butter for 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, saute the mushrooms, green pepper and onion in remaining butter until tender. , Stir in the flour, salt and cayenne. Gradually add milk until blended. 1 lb smoked sausage, finely diced
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled, deveined and chopped
1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
3 3/4 cups water
1 (12 ounce) package dirty rice mix (low sodium)
1 (14 ounce) can shoe peg corn, undrained
1 (10 ounce) can cream of shrimp soup
1 bunch green onion, sliced
2 (10 ounce) jars mushrooms, undrained
1 -2 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet, as desired for color
1 lb claw crabmeat, picked clean for shells
1 lb crawfish tail

Steps:

  • First melt the butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Drop in the smoked sausage and cook until slightly browned. Stir in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3 minutes. Do not overcook the shrimp. Toss in the bell pepper and cook another 3 minutes until tender.

1 box wild rice - 8 ounces
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 green pepper, seeded and chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
2 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Cook the rice according to the package directions, minus 1/4 cup water. Drain and let it cool slightly.
  • 2. Then bring 2 cups water and 1/2 tablespoon salt to a boil in a saucepan and cook the shrimp for 1 minute. Drain immediately and set aside.
  • 3. Heat the butter in another saucepan and saute the green pepper and onion until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • 4. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the cooled rice, soup, 1 1/2 cups (or less!) cups of cheese, shrimp and sauted vegetables. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  • 5. Spray a 7x11 glass casserole (or 9x13 if doubling recipe) with vegetable spray. Put the mixture in the dish and top with the remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbly.

1 medium onion chopped
3 clove garlic minced
1 c crushed tomatoes
1 jar(s) spaghetti sauce
1/2 bottle zesty italian dressing
basil for garnish
