Tips for Roasting Grape Tomatoes:

  • Choose ripe, firm grape tomatoes. Avoid any tomatoes that are bruised or have soft spots.
  • Halve the tomatoes. This will help them roast evenly.
  • Toss the tomatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or dried oregano.
  • Spread the tomatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Don't overcrowd the pan, or the tomatoes will steam instead of roast.
  • Roast the tomatoes at a high temperature (400°F) for 20-25 minutes. This will help them caramelize and develop a slightly smoky flavor.
  • Let the tomatoes cool slightly before serving. They can be served warm or at room temperature.

Conclusion:

Roasted grape tomatoes are a delicious and versatile side dish that can be enjoyed in many different ways. They can be served as a simple side dish, added to salads, or used as a topping for pizzas and pastas. They are also a great way to add a pop of color and flavor to your dishes.
