Tips

  • To make sure the steak is evenly cooked, cut it into strips of equal thickness.
  • To get a good sear on the steak, make sure the pan is hot before adding the meat.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the steak. If you do, the steak will steam instead of sear.
  • If you want a medium-rare steak, cook it for about 3 minutes per side. For a medium steak, cook it for about 4 minutes per side. For a well-done steak, cook it for about 5 minutes per side.
  • Once the steak is cooked to your desired doneness, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the steak.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides, such as rice, vegetables, or mashed potatoes.

Conclusion

Sirloin strips over rice is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The steak is tender and flavorful, and the rice is a great way to soak up all of the juices. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a delicious meal that the whole family will enjoy.
