STANDARD GREEK SALAD
Salads in Greece don't actually have any lettuce in them, and neither does this salad. It also doesn't have any oil. It's very easy to make, and it's perfect for barbeques, potlucks, and picnics.

Tips:
- Choose fresh and flavorful ingredients: For the best-tasting salad, use fresh, ripe vegetables and herbs. Look for brightly colored tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, sweet bell peppers, and fragrant oregano and basil.
- Cut the vegetables into uniform pieces: This will help them cook evenly and make the salad more visually appealing. Cut the tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers into 1-inch pieces, and the red onion into thin slices.
- Marinate the vegetables: Marinating the vegetables in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs helps to infuse them with flavor. Marinate the vegetables for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- Use a variety of skewers: You can use wooden skewers, metal skewers, or even bamboo skewers. Just make sure that they are long enough to hold all of the vegetables and that they are sturdy enough to withstand the heat of the grill.
- Grill the skewers over medium heat: This will help to prevent the vegetables from burning and will give them a nice smoky flavor. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
Conclusion:
Skewered Greek salad is a delicious and refreshing dish that is perfect for summer gatherings. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a healthy and flavorful meal, give this recipe a try!
