Tips

  • Use a good quality round steak. Look for one that is well-marbled with fat, as this will help keep the steak moist and flavorful during cooking.
  • Brown the steak before cooking it in the slow cooker. This will help develop flavor and prevent the steak from becoming dry.
  • Use a variety of vegetables in your slow cooker recipe. This will add flavor and nutrients to the dish.
  • Don't overcook the steak. The best way to ensure that the steak is cooked to perfection is to use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the steak should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or 170 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides. Some popular options include mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.

Conclusion

Slow-cooked Italian round steak is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a busy weeknight. With a little planning, you can have a flavorful and satisfying meal on the table in no time. So next time you're looking for a simple and delicious dinner idea, give this slow-cooked Italian round steak recipe a try.
