Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh corn on the cob. If using frozen corn, thaw it completely before cooking.
  • To prevent the corn from drying out, add a little water or broth to the slow cooker. You can also add a pat of butter or a tablespoon of oil to each ear of corn.
  • To add extra flavor, try adding some herbs or spices to the water or broth. Some good options include basil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, or onion powder.
  • If you want to make flavored butter to serve with the corn, simply mix together your favorite herbs, spices, and butter. You can also add a little bit of honey or maple syrup for a sweet and savory flavor.
  • Corn on the cob is cooked when the kernels are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork. This usually takes about 2-3 hours on low or 1-2 hours on high in a slow cooker.

Conclusion:

Slow cooker corn on the cob is an easy and delicious way to enjoy this summer staple. With a little planning, you can have a delicious and flavorful meal with minimal effort. So next time you're looking for a simple and satisfying dish, give slow cooker corn on the cob a try. You won't be disappointed!
