STRAWBERRY SODA CAKE
This recipe is a little different from the others. This is my DD favorite cake. I cannot count how many times I have given out the recipe. I like it because you make it up the day before. I have also used a butter cake mix with good results. I have used other brands also. Cooking time does not include overnight refrigeration time.

Tips:
- Use fresh strawberries: Fresh strawberries give the cake the best flavor. If you can't find fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries that have been thawed and drained.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can make the cake tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Don't open the slow cooker while the cake is baking: Opening the slow cooker while the cake is baking can cause the cake to fall.
- Let the cake cool completely before frosting it: This will help the frosting to set properly.
