THE PERFECT MARGARITA

The Perfect Margarita image

Mastering the margarita requires a certain amount of practice, but once you dial-in your perfect ratio, it's a really easy cocktail to replicate. The classic recipe is 3 parts tequila, 2 parts triple sec, and 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice, and you should probably start off pretty close to that, but my personal favorite proportions are 4-3-2.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 ounces silver tequila
1 1/2 ounces fresh tangerine juice, plus more for rim
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
Kosher salt
Frozen tangerine wedge

Steps:

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. This includes using fresh limes, oranges, and strawberries. You can also use frozen fruit, but fresh fruit will give you a more vibrant flavor.
  • Don't skimp on the tequila. A Snow Cap Margarita is a tequila-forward cocktail, so make sure you use a good quality tequila. A blanco or reposado tequila will work well.

  • Rim the glass with salt or sugar for a classic margarita touch. You can also use a flavored salt or sugar, such as chili powder or cinnamon sugar.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and a strawberry for a festive presentation. You can also use other garnishes, such as a mint sprig or a maraschino cherry.

Conclusion:

The Snow Cap Margarita is a refreshing and flavorful cocktail that is perfect for any party or special occasion.
