Tips

  • Chill the dough: Chilling the dough before rolling and cutting it helps it to hold its shape better and prevents it from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Use a sharp knife: A sharp knife will give you clean, precise cuts and help to prevent the dough from tearing.
  • Don't overwork the dough: Overworking the dough will make it tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cookies at the right temperature: The cookies should be baked at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until they are just beginning to brown around the edges.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before decorating them: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.

Conclusion

These soft ginger cut-outs are the perfect holiday cookie. They are easy to make, delicious, and can be decorated in a variety of ways. Whether you are looking for a classic Christmas cookie or something new and festive, these cookies are sure to please everyone.
