BLACKBERRY CAKE FILLING
I made this up because we needed a quick cake filling. You can use any berries. It also makes good syrup. Let sauce cool before filling your cake.

Tips:
- To ensure the cake bakes evenly, use room temperature ingredients and make sure all ingredients are well incorporated.
- For a moist and flavorful cake, use buttermilk or sour cream instead of regular milk.
- If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of regular milk and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
- For a richer cake, use dark chocolate instead of semisweet chocolate.
- To make the blackberry filling, use fresh blackberries if possible. If using frozen blackberries, thaw them and drain them before using.
- To make the cream cheese frosting, use full-fat cream cheese for a richer flavor.
- For a creamier frosting, beat the cream cheese and butter together until light and fluffy before adding the powdered sugar.
- To decorate the cake, you can use additional blackberries, chocolate shavings, or chopped nuts.
Conclusion:
This decadent spice cake with blackberry filling and cream cheese frosting is a perfect dessert for any occasion. The moist and flavorful cake is complemented by the tangy blackberry filling and the creamy frosting. This cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
