SPICED PECAN PIE CRUST

Spiced Pecan Pie Crust image

From the Cuisinart website. It sounds like it would be amazing for a cheesecake crust or a pumpkin pie! The original recipes says you need a spice grinder to grind one whole cinnamon stick and one whole nutmeg with the pecans. I am altering it and substituting 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp of nutmeg. So you may want to base it a little on taste. Chop the pecans in a mini-food chopper if you have one!

  • Season the pecan crust with your favorite herbs and spices. Some good options include paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  • Press the pecan crust firmly onto the fish fillets. This will help it stay in place during cooking.
  • Bake the fish fillets in a preheated oven until they are cooked through. The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  • Serve the fish fillets immediately with your favorite sides.

Conclusion:

Spiced pecan crust is a delicious and easy way to add flavor and texture to your fish dishes. It's perfect for baked, grilled, or fried fish. With its nutty flavor and crispy texture, spiced pecan crust is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
