Time 10m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 tablespoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder, ground
1 lime wedge
8 ounces tequila, blanco
1/2 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 ounces Cointreau liqueur
1 teaspoon hot sauce

Steps:

  • Mix the salt and chile powder on a small plate. Rub the rims of 4 martini (or other gorgeous) glasses with the lime wedge, then dip the rims in the salt mixture to coat. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, and add all of the remaining ingredients. Shake vigorously, then strain into glasses. Serve immediately.

Tips:

  • For a smoky flavor, grill the pineapple slices before muddling them.
  • Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. Bottled lime juice can be used in a pinch, but it won't be as good.
  • If you don't have simple syrup, you can make your own by dissolving 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of boiling water.
  • If you don't have orange liqueur, you can use triple sec or Cointreau instead.
  • Garnish your margaritas with a lime wedge, a pineapple wedge, or a cherry.

Conclusion:

The spicy pineapple margarita is a refreshing and flavorful cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. With its combination of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors, this margarita is sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy-to-make cocktail, give the spicy pineapple margarita a try. You won't be disappointed!
