Tips:

  • When choosing spinach for this recipe, look for fresh, dark green leaves. Avoid any leaves that are wilted or have yellow or brown spots.
  • To easily remove the stems from the spinach, hold a handful of leaves at the base and pull them through your fingers. The stems will naturally snap off.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can finely chop the spinach by hand. However, it may take a little longer.
  • To make sure the spinach balls are cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center of one. If it comes out clean, they are done.
  • The mustard sauce is a great complement to the spinach balls. However, you can substitute another dipping sauce of your choice, such as ranch dressing or marinara sauce.

Conclusion:

Spinach balls with mustard sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for parties or potlucks. With their combination of fresh spinach, savory cheese, and tangy mustard sauce, these spinach balls are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you are looking for a quick and tasty recipe, give spinach balls with mustard sauce a try. You won't be disappointed!
