TURKEY NOODLE BAKE
This recipe became the answer to my Thanksgiving leftovers. I created it in my kitchen a couple of years ago after I had purchased a too-large turkey. When my 4 year old son (a very picky eater) asked me if I could make this for him everyday, I knew I had done something right! You can use any type of milk (fat free, whole, 1 or 2%), and any type of sour cream you like. This recipe is best with home made noodles (recipe below). Also, if you have any leftover gravy, you can blend a 1/4 to a 1/2 cup when you combine all ingredients.

Tips:
- Choose the right type of noodles. Short, sturdy noodles like penne or macaroni are best for this dish because they can hold up to the thick sauce. Avoid using long, thin noodles like spaghetti or fettuccine, as they will become too mushy.
- Cook the noodles al dente. This means cooking them until they are just tender, but still have a slight bite to them. This will help them hold their shape in the casserole.
- Don't overcook the turkey. Turkey can quickly become dry and tough, so it's important to cook it only until it is cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use a flavorful sauce. The sauce is what really brings this dish together, so make sure it's packed with flavor. Use a combination of herbs, spices, and vegetables to create a sauce that is both delicious and hearty.
- Don't be afraid to experiment. This recipe is a great starting point, but feel free to add your own personal touches. Try adding different vegetables, cheeses, or herbs to create a dish that is uniquely yours.
Conclusion:
Spinach Turkey Noodle Bake is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It's packed with protein, vegetables, and flavor, and it's sure to be a hit with the whole family. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner idea, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
