Tips:
- Use unsalted butter at room temperature to ensure the cookies spread evenly and have a uniform texture.
- Do not overbeat the butter and sugar mixture. Overbeating can result in tough cookies.
- Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
- Use a cookie scoop to ensure uniform-sized cookies. This will help them bake evenly.
- Bake the cookies until the edges are just beginning to brown. Overbaking can result in dry, crumbly cookies.
- Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack. This will help prevent them from breaking.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
