These steak kabobs not only satisfy my love of outdoor cooking, they feature a mouthwatering marinade, too. It's terrific with chicken and pork, but I prefer it with beef because it tenderizes remarkably well. -Christi Ross, Guthrie, Texas

Tips:

  • Use high-quality beef: The better the quality of the beef, the better the skewers will be. Look for beef that is well-marbled and has a good amount of fat.
  • Cut the beef into small pieces: This will help the beef cook evenly and quickly.
  • Marinate the beef: Marinating the beef will help to tenderize it and add flavor. You can use a simple marinade made with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, or you can get more creative with your marinade ingredients.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: Don't just stick to one type of vegetable. Try using a variety of vegetables, such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and zucchini.
  • Cook the skewers over medium heat: This will help to prevent the beef from overcooking and becoming tough.
  • Serve the skewers with a dipping sauce: A dipping sauce will help to add flavor and moisture to the skewers. You can use a simple dipping sauce made with mayonnaise, sour cream, and chopped herbs, or you can get more creative with your dipping sauce ingredients.

Conclusion:

Summer beef skewers are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're grilling them for a backyard barbecue or cooking them in a pan on the stovetop, beef skewers are sure to be a hit. With a little planning and preparation, you can make beef skewers that are juicy, flavorful, and sure to impress your friends and family.
