This is a great cheeseball recipe I picked up somewhere over 30 yrs ago. It's still a family favorite! This one is better if you let it age a day or so to let the garlic age in.

8 ounces cream cheese
2 1/4 ounces underwood deviled ham spread
1/2 cup sliced olives with pimentos
1 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon A.1. Original Sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 minced garlic clove
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Creme together the creme cheese, deviled ham spread, A1, worchester, tabasco and garlic.
  • Work in the sliced olives and shredded chedder.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap and chill until solid.
  • Form into a ball and roll in the crush/chopped pecans.
  • Decorate with a cherry if you desire.
  • *Note: If you like it a little spicier, increase the tabasco!

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 teaspoons grated onions
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon season salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 ounces canned deviled ham
2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
2 teaspoons pimientos, chopped
2/3 cup finely chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except pecans.
  • Form into two balls.
  • Roll balls in pecans until covered.

1/2 pound thinly sliced deli ham
1/2 medium onion, cut into wedges
2 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, cubed
1 cup chopped pecans
1 slice Swiss cheese
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • Place ham and onion in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped. Add cheddar cheese; pulse until blended. Add cream cheese; process until smooth., Shape cheese mixture into a football; press pecans into cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour., Cut Swiss cheese into strips; arrange over top for laces. Serve with crackers.

1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 (4 1/4 ounce) cans deviled ham
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons finely minced onions, I use dehydrated onion
3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Cream together cream cheese and mayonnaise.
  • Add deviled ham, minced onion, Tabasco sauce and mix well.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.

(I was given this recipe a few years ago). It is one everyone will ask for. I took it once to a Birthday Party and was asked for the recipe by at least 5 people including the host. These can be served for dinner on rice or taken to parties and kept warm in a crockpot until serving. They can also be made ahead of time and frozen.

1 lb ground ham (if needed you can get a ham steak or chunk at the deli counter to grind)
1 lb ground pork
2/3 cup crushed cracker crumb
1/2-3/4 cup milk
1 green pepper, very finely chopped
2 eggs
1 medium onion, very finely chopped
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup catsup
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup molasses
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • (3 batches of sauce is best when filling a crockpot with a double batch of balls) Ham Balls: Mix all together, gradually adding milk at the end to moisten enough to form balls.
  • Bake balls on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 350 degrees, drain fat and cool.
  • Sauce: Mix togther, heat and simmer 10 minutes until well blended.
