I created this marinade on a whim one day and it was delicious! We usually use it on porterhouse steaks, but I'm sure it's interchangeable. This recipe is more than enough for two large steaks, but can be increased or decreased as needed.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak: A flank steak or skirt steak is best for this marinade, as they are thin and flavorful cuts of meat that will soak up the marinade well.
  • Make sure the steak is at room temperature before grilling: This will help the steak cook evenly.
  • Do not overcook the steak: A1 steak sauce is already sweet and tangy, so you don't want to overcook the steak and make it tough.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing: This will help the juices redistribute throughout the steak, making it more tender and flavorful.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides: Mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad are all great options.
