My family thinks it's as good on the holiday table as it is at summer picnics. 1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons sugar

  • Cut off all but 1 inch of beet tops. Wash beets; leave whole with root ends attached. 1 tablespoon cornstarch
