This recipe is from the 2009 cookbook, Taste of Home's Best Holiday Recipes, & the sausages not only make a nice appetizer for a group, but they're also tasty over a bed of brown rice when serving 4!

2 (16 ounce) packages sausages, miniature, smoked
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can peaches, sliced, drained, halved
1 cup chili sauce
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon onion, dried, minced
1 teaspoon curry powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F & grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, brown sausages in butter.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the peaches, chili sauce, sugar, ketchup, onion & curry powder, then stir in the sausages.
  • Transfer to the prepared baking dish & bake for 30 minutes, then stir, before baking for another 15 minutes or until bubbly.

2 tablespoons butter
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced peaches, drained and halved
1 cup chili sauce
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon curry powder

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, brown sausages in butter. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; stir in the sausages. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Stir; bake 15 minutes longer or until bubbly.
