Time 15m

Yield 1 Quart Relish

Number Of Ingredients 2

28 ounces pickled jalapeno peppers
granulated sugar

Steps:

  • Drain off peppers. Grind peppers in a food processor until consistancy of relish and place in a quart jar. Replace vinegar with sugar. Rotate jar every few hours until all sugar becomes liquid. Store in refrigerator and wait a few days and enjoy. Great on hotdogs. It will last almost forever in the frige, unless you're like me and can't resist.

Tips:

  • Choose the right jalapeños: Look for firm, deep green jalapeños with no blemishes or bruises. Avoid jalapeños that are too ripe, as they will be less spicy.
  • Wear gloves when handling jalapeños: The capsaicin in jalapeños can irritate your skin, so it's important to wear gloves when you're cutting or seeding them.
  • Remove the seeds and ribs if you want a milder flavor: The seeds and ribs are the spiciest parts of the jalapeño, so removing them will reduce the heat. However, if you like spicy food, you can leave them in.
  • Use a variety of ingredients to create different flavors: Sweet Fire Jalapeños are a versatile dish that can be made with a variety of ingredients. Try experimenting with different combinations of fruits, vegetables, and spices to create unique and delicious flavors.
  • Don't overcook the jalapeños: Overcooking the jalapeños will make them mushy and less flavorful. Cook them just until they are tender-crisp.

Conclusion:
