1 package (15 ounces) refrigerated pie pastry
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound Swiss cheese, sliced

Steps:

  • Line a 9-in. pie plate with bottom pastry; trim even with edge. In a skillet, saute the mushrooms and onion in butter; drain. Arrange half of the cheese slices in the crust. Top with half of the mushroom mixture; repeat layers., Place remaining pastry over filling; trim, seal and flute edges. Cut slits in the top. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. 1 cup flour
6 tablespoons chilled butter, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/2 cup aged swiss cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb fresh brown button mushrooms or 1 lb white mushroom, cleaned
1 1/2 cups aged shredded swiss cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup light cream or 1/2 cup milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Steps:
