1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2-1/2 cups water
2 cans (15 ounces each) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
2-1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 envelope taco seasoning
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons baking cocoa
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon Louisiana-style hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Optional toppings: Sour cream, tortilla strips and sliced jalapenos

Steps:

  • Cook beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a 4-qt. slow cooker. Stir in the remaining ingredients., Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or until heated through. Serve with toppings if desired.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, diced
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 pound frozen corn kernels
2 (14.5 ounce) cans Mexican-style stewed tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1 cup water
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ½ cups tomato sauce
2 tablespoons tomato paste

Steps:

  • In a large pot, cook onion in oil over medium heat 1 minute. Stir in cayenne and oregano and cook 1 minute more. Stir in corn, tomatoes, pinto beans, kidney beans, chicken bouillon granules, water, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and tomato paste. 1 can (15 ounces) black beans
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans
1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans
1 can (14 ounces) hominy
1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 small onion, chopped
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
1 envelope taco seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles
2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
Optional toppings: corn chips, sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook and crumble beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink, 8-10 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer beef to a 5-qt. slow cooker., Rinse and drain beans and hominy. Add to beef, along with canned tomatoes and green chilies, tomato sauce, onion, the dressing and seasoning mixes and pepper. Puree green chilies and remaining diced tomatoes in a covered blender until smooth; stir into beef mixture., Cook, covered, on low until flavors are blended, 6-8 hours. 2 lbs lean hamburger
2 cans Wolf brand chili
1 package corn tortilla
vegetable oil
shredded lettuce
chopped tomatoes
