TAMARIND CASHEW SAUCE (DIP OR SAUCE...LOTS OF VARIATIONS)
I've made it as a sauce for everything from fresh veggies, fresh fruit (especially apples), to lettuce wraps. Also makes great sauce for main dish of meat, chicken or seafood. I've also made a great pita sandwich using the sauce with chicken and apples! Inspired by Cheesecake Factory's dipping sauce! Takes about 15-20 mins to prepare depending on kitchen efficiency, but allow a minimum of 30 mins to cool and set.

Tips:
- Use ripe tamarinds: The riper the tamarinds, the sweeter and more flavorful the sauce will be. If you can't find ripe tamarinds, you can soak dried tamarinds in hot water for 30 minutes to soften them.
- Adjust the spice level: The amount of chili peppers you use will determine how spicy the sauce is. If you don't like spicy food, you can omit the chili peppers altogether or use a milder variety.
- Add other ingredients to taste: You can add other ingredients to the sauce to taste, such as ginger, garlic, lemongrass, or kaffir lime leaves. Be creative and experiment until you find a combination that you like.
- Store the sauce properly: The sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze the sauce for up to 3 months.
Conclusion:
Tamarind cashew sauce is a versatile sauce that can be used as a dipping sauce, a marinade, or a cooking sauce. It is also a good source of vitamins and minerals. With its sweet, sour, and spicy flavor, tamarind cashew sauce is sure to please everyone at your table. So next time you're looking for a new sauce to try, give tamarind cashew sauce a try.
