TERIYAKI CHICKEN BURGERS
My family wasn't that thrilled with the taste of turkey burgers and I was watching my intake of beef. I started experimenting with ground chicken in my burgers and was mildly surprised with the outcome. The family likes these better than beef burgers! I usually make this when I bring the chicken home from the market. It makes for a quick meal on a weeknight. It just doesn't get any easier! These are served on Belle's® Hamburger Rolls which are totally off the hook!

Steps:
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Combine ground chicken and pineapple in a large bowl; season with salt and black pepper. Mix jalapeno pepper, pressed garlic, and 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce into the chicken mixture. Continue mixing with your hands until evenly combined.
- Cook burgers on preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 7 to 10 minutes per side, basting the burgers with remaining 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

EASY TERIYAKI CHICKEN BURGERS
A super simple way to make a chicken burger that zings with flavor! Sometimes it's referred to as "hawaiian-style." This has been my husband's favorite for a long time, especially at Red Robin. That got too expensive after a while so I thought I'd try making it at home instead. He loves it! These burgers have been a big hit whenever we have friends over for a barbeque.

Steps:
- 1 In a large bowl combine the patty ingredients. Mix gently with your hands, being careful not to overwork the meat. Moisten your hands with water and shape the meat into four patties, each about ¾ inch thick. With your thumb or the back of a spoon, make a shallow indentation about 1 inch wide in the center of each patty so the centers are about ½ inch thick. This will help the patties cook evenly and prevent them from puffing on the grill. Cover the patties with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour. 2 Prepare the grill for direct cooking over medium heat (350° to 450°F). 3 Lightly brush the patties with oil. Brush the cooking grates clean. Grill the patties over direct high heat, with the lid closed as much as possible, until fully cooked but still juicy, 12 to 14 minutes, turning once. During the last minute of grilling time, toast the buns over direct heat. 4 Remove the burgers and buns from the grill and serve with grilled onions, mustard, and mayonnaise, if desired.
Tips:
- Choose the right chicken: Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs for the best results. Ground chicken can also be used, but it will produce a less juicy burger.
- Season the chicken well: The teriyaki sauce is flavorful, but the chicken itself should also be well-seasoned. Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Don't overcook the chicken: Chicken burgers are best when cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Overcooking will make them dry and tough.
- Use a good-quality teriyaki sauce: The teriyaki sauce is the star of the show in this recipe, so it's important to use a good-quality one. Look for a sauce that is thick and flavorful, with a balance of sweet and savory.
- Toast the buns: Toasted buns will help to hold the burgers together and add a bit of extra flavor.
- Add your favorite toppings: Once the burgers are cooked, you can add your favorite toppings. Some popular options include lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and avocado.
Conclusion:
Teriyaki chicken burgers are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a casual weekend lunch. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and juicy burger that everyone will love. So next time you're looking for a new burger recipe, give these teriyaki chicken burgers a try!
