Margaritas are a classic cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. Whether you prefer them frozen or on the rocks, with salt or without, there is a margarita recipe out there for everyone. The key to a great margarita is using fresh lime juice. This will give your margarita a bright, tart flavor that will make your mouth water. If you can, try to find key limes, as they have a more intense flavor than regular limes.

Steps:
- To salt the margarita glasses, rub the outside rims of 4 big glasses with a cut lime and press them lightly into a plate of kosher salt, to coat.
- Combine the lime juice, sugar, orange liqueur, Triple Sec, tequila, and a big handful of ice in a cocktail shaker (or blender). Shake the margarita really well, for a good 20 seconds, add a splash of beer and strain into the salt rimmed glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Steps:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, lime juice, Simple Syrup and orange liqueur. Cover and shake until mixed and chilled, about 30 seconds. (In general, the drink is ready by the time the shaker mists up.) Place Lime-salt-sugar on a plate. Press the rim of a chilled rocks or wine glass into the mixture to rim the edge. Strain margarita into the glass.
- Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. (Alternatively, heat in the microwave.) Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
- Blend together lime, salt and sugar in a small blender or mini food chopper.
THE PERFECT MARGARITA
Mastering the margarita requires a certain amount of practice, but once you dial-in your perfect ratio, it's a really easy cocktail to replicate. The classic recipe is 3 parts tequila, 2 parts triple sec, and 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice, and you should probably start off pretty close to that, but my personal favorite proportions are 4-3-2.

Tips:
- Use fresh limes: Fresh lime juice has a brighter, more flavorful taste than bottled or concentrated lime juice.
- Chill your ingredients: Chilling your ingredients before making the margarita will help to keep the drink cold and refreshing.
- Use a good quality tequila: The tequila is the main ingredient in a margarita, so it's important to use a good quality tequila that you enjoy the taste of.
- Don't over-shake the margarita: Over-shaking the margarita will make it cloudy and foamy.
- Serve the margarita with a lime wedge: A lime wedge adds a pop of color and flavor to the margarita.
Conclusion:
The margarita is a classic cocktail that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With its refreshing taste and simple ingredients, the margarita is a perfect drink for any occasion.
