3 tablespoons lemon juice
6 tilapia fillets (about 2 lbs)
1 1/2 teaspoons creole seasoning

Tips:

  • Choose fresh tilapia fillets: Look for fillets that are firm to the touch and have a mild, slightly sweet smell. Avoid fillets that are slimy or have a strong fishy odor.
  • Season the tilapia fillets generously: Use a combination of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to season the fillets before cooking. This will help to enhance their flavor.
  • Cook the tilapia fillets over medium heat: Cooking the fillets over medium heat will help to prevent them from drying out. Cook them for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
  • Use fresh green beans: Fresh green beans are the best choice for this recipe. Trim the ends of the beans and cut them into 1-inch pieces.
  • Blanch the green beans: Blanching the green beans will help to preserve their color and crispness. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the green beans for 2-3 minutes. Drain the beans and rinse them with cold water.
  • Toast the almonds: Toasting the almonds will help to bring out their flavor. Spread the almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake them in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  • Make the amandine sauce: The amandine sauce is a simple but flavorful sauce that is made with butter, lemon juice, and toasted almonds. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the lemon juice and toasted almonds and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce is heated through.
