TIROLER CAKE
This is my cousin's recipe. A 'cake' in Swiss is traditionally one made in a loaf pan. This is a good coffee cake.

Steps:
- The entire thing should have taken you half an hour, including doing the dishes. Bake at the bottom of your oven, 180°C, for anything between 30 and 60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. In my oven it's around half an hour.
Tips:
- For a rich, moist cake, use high-quality butter and eggs.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help incorporate air into the batter, resulting in a lighter cake.
- Gradually add the eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Sift the flour and baking powder together before adding them to the batter. This will help prevent lumps.
- Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense cake.
- Bake the cake in a preheated oven. This will help ensure that the cake rises evenly.
- Cool the cake completely before frosting it. This will help prevent the frosting from melting.
- For a professional-looking cake, use a piping bag to apply the frosting.
- Decorate the cake with your favorite toppings, such as sprinkles, chopped nuts, or fresh berries.
Conclusion:
The Tiroler cake is a delicious and versatile cake that can be enjoyed for any occasion. With its rich, moist texture and sweet, nutty flavor, it is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced baker, you can easily make this cake at home. So next time you are looking for a special treat, give the Tiroler cake a try.
