Tips:

  • Use very ripe plantains: Very ripe plantains are sweeter and have a softer texture, making them ideal for fritters.
  • Use a food processor or blender: A food processor or blender will help you achieve a smooth and consistent batter.
  • Do not overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the fritters tough.
  • Fry the fritters in hot oil: The oil should be hot enough to prevent the fritters from absorbing too much oil.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan: Do not overcrowd the pan with fritters, as this will prevent them from cooking evenly.
  • Serve the fritters hot: Titale is best served hot, so enjoy them immediately after frying.
