Steps:
- Boil a large, salted pot of water for the tortellini. Start cooking the tortellini once the bacon is done (it'll only take a few minutes for the tortellini to cook).
- Cut the bacon into small pieces (I use kitchen shears to make the job easy). Fry it in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy (about 10 minutes).
- Take the pan off the heat and remove the bacon to a paper towel lined plate. Drain most of the bacon fat from the pan (keep about 1 tablespoon in there).
- Stir in the garlic, chicken broth, cream, and cream cheese. Return the pan to the burner (medium heat), and stir until you've got a smooth sauce and it's reduced to your liking (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in the parmesan cheese and bacon. Take the pan off the heat and toss with the drained tortellini. If the sauce is too thick, add a few spoonfuls of the pasta water. Season with salt & pepper as needed.

TORTELLINI CARBONARA
I've made this bacon, cream and Parmesan cheese pasta sauce for so many years and have always called it a carbonara. Low-and-behold, I recently found out it's actually more like an Alfredo sauce. In either case, it's absolutely heavenly and a great option for company! -Cathy Croyle, Davidsville, Pennsylvania

CREAMY TORTELLINI SALAD WITH CHICKEN, BACON, AND RANCH DRESSING
When I moved to Oklahoma, I discovered a pizza called "chicken bacon ranch" and this pasta salad is a nod to the flavors in the pizza. If desired, marinate chicken in ranch dressing, and grill chicken to bump up the flavor.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and high-quality bacon will make a big difference in the taste of the dish.
- Cook the tortellini according to the package directions. Al dente tortellini will have a slightly firm bite and will hold its shape well in the sauce.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the bacon. This will prevent the bacon from cooking evenly and will make it more likely to splatter.
- Cook the bacon over medium heat. This will help to prevent the bacon from burning.
- Don't boil the sauce. A gentle simmer is all that is needed to thicken the sauce and infuse it with flavor.
- Serve the dish immediately. Tortellini with creamy bacon sauce is best enjoyed fresh. However, the leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Conclusion:
Tortellini with creamy bacon sauce is a quick and easy weeknight meal that is sure to please the whole family. With its rich and flavorful sauce, tender tortellini, and crispy bacon, this dish is a surefire hit. So next time you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, give tortellini with creamy bacon sauce a try.
