Time 25m

Yield 10

Number Of Ingredients 10

nonstick cooking spray
1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough (such as Pillsbury®)
1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
6 large slices deli pepperoni
1 (8 ounce) package sliced mozzarella cheese
10 thin small slices pepperoni
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup olive oil
1 small bunch fresh parsley, stem removed and finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray two cake pans with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured cutting board. Flatten out into a rectangle.
  • Brush surface of the pizza dough with as much pizza sauce as you like.
  • Cover dough with alternating slices of large pepperoni and mozzarella slices. Dot with small pepperoni slices.
  • Starting at the long side, roll up the dough carefully into a jelly roll, making sure the filling stays in and pinch closed along the side. Slice into 1/2-inch rounds and place them inside the cake pans flat. Tuck the ends around as necessary and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over each slice.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Stir together olive oil, parsley, and garlic in a shallow bowl. Brush warm pizza rolls with garlic oil.

EASY CHOPPED CHEESE SANDWICH RECIPE

Easy Chopped Cheese Sandwich Recipe image

Enjoy this easy chopped cheese sandwich recipe for a quick yet delicious weeknight dinner.

Provided by Steph Loaiza

Categories     Main Course

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 Tablespoons butter (divided)
4 hoagie buns
1 onion (diced)
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
8 slices American cheese
mayonnaise (to taste)
ketchup (to taste)
shredded lettuce (optional topping)
tomatoes (optional topping)

Steps:

  • Slice hoagie rolls open.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add 1 Tablespoon butter. Once the butter is melted, place the hoagies on the skillet so that the inside surface gets toasted (it will take 2-3 minutes). Set toasted buns aside.
  • Add remaining butter to pan and saute onions until they are translucent (about 3 minutes). Push onions to the side of the pan and add ground beef to the pan as one large patty. Let the ground beef start to brown without breaking it up (let it sear for 3-4 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and then flip the large ground beef patty over to sear the other side (it should take 2-3 minutes).
  • Start to chop up the ground beef using a spatula or ChopStir and work the onions in with the beef. Continue to chop and cook the beef until no pink remains (should take about 3 minutes). Divide the meat into 4 even portions and top each portion with 2 slices of cheese. Allow the cheese to melt while in the skillet.
  • Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the inside of the buns, then top with beef and cheese mixture. Add other preferred toppings (like tomatoes and lettuce) and then serve.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the s'mores. Look for a chocolate that is at least 70% cacao.
  • Use fresh graham crackers. Stale graham crackers will make your s'mores less enjoyable.
  • Roast the marshmallows over a campfire or in a fire pit. This will give them a delicious smoky flavor.
  • Don't overcook the marshmallows. You want them to be gooey and melted, but not burnt.
  • Assemble the s'mores immediately after roasting the marshmallows. This will prevent the marshmallows from getting cold and hard.
  • Be creative with your s'mores. You can add other ingredients, such as peanut butter, Nutella, or fruit, to make your s'mores even more delicious.

Conclusion:

S'mores are a classic campfire treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. With a few simple tips, you can make the perfect s'mores every time. So next time you're gathered around a campfire, be sure to make a batch of s'mores. You won't be disappointed!
