¾ cup strong brewed coffee
1 cup sour cream
1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon table salt
2 teaspoons ground ginger (optional)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
5 large eggs
½ cup diced candied ginger (optional)
½ cup heavy cream

1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
1 (5.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
½ cup warm water
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, oil, beaten eggs and water. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour batter into a well greased 12 cup bundt pan.
  • Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until top is springy to the touch and a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool cake thoroughly in pan at least an hour and a half before inverting onto a plate If desired, dust the cake with powdered sugar.

1/3 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
2/3 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup canned chocolate frosting
1 to 2 tablespoons 2% milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 10-in. fluted tube pan., In a large bowl, combine cake mix, sugar, eggs, sour cream and oil; beat on low 30 seconds. Beat on medium 2 minutes. Remove half of the batter to another bowl; stir in cocoa until blended. Fold chocolate chips into remaining batter. , Alternately spoon batters into prepared pan. Bake 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (1 1/2 ounce) package chocolate fat free sugar-free instant pudding mix
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1 (8 ounce) carton fat free sour cream
1 cup egg substitute or 4 eggs
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup light fudge topping (such as Smucker's Brand)

Steps:

  • Combine all cake ingredients (except Fudge Topping) until well mixed.
  • Spray 12 cup bundt pan with cooking spray.
  • Pour cake batter into bunt pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (or until cake starts to pull away from sides of pan).
