Tips:

  • Choose high-quality ground turkey. Opt for ground turkey that is made from 100% turkey and has a lean-to-fat ratio of 85/15 or 90/10. This will ensure that your breakfast sausage is flavorful and juicy.
  • Don't overmix the sausage. Overmixing can make the sausage tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Cook the sausage over medium heat. This will help to prevent the sausage from drying out.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the sausage is cooked through. The internal temperature of the sausage should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the sausage immediately. Breakfast sausage is best served hot. You can serve it with eggs, pancakes, waffles, or hash browns.

Conclusion:

Turkey breakfast sausage is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional pork sausage. It is easy to make and can be used in a variety of dishes. With its lean protein and flavorful spices, turkey breakfast sausage is a great way to start your day.
