Tips:

  • Choose the right turkey. For a casserole, you'll want to use a boneless, skinless turkey breast or thighs. This will make it easier to shred and mix into the casserole.
  • Cook the turkey ahead of time. This will save you time on the day you're making the casserole. You can cook the turkey in the oven, in a slow cooker, or even in an Instant Pot.
  • Use a variety of vegetables. This will add flavor and texture to your casserole. Some good options include carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers.
  • Use a creamy sauce. This will help to bind the casserole together and make it more flavorful. You can use a simple béchamel sauce, or you can add some flavorings, such as herbs, spices, or cheese.
  • Top with a crunchy topping. This will add texture and flavor to the casserole. Some good options include breadcrumbs, crushed crackers, or grated cheese.

Conclusion:

Turkey dinner casserole is a delicious and easy way to use up leftover turkey. It's perfect for a weeknight meal or a holiday potluck. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a casserole dish that the whole family will love.
